German WWII 2nd Model Luftwaffe Miniature Dagger by SMF-This is a very nice example of a 9 ½ inch (24.13cm) miniature Luftwaffe dagger. The pumpkin orange handle is in very good condition. The dagger is loose to the scabbard and does not lock into place. The details on the pommel and Luftwaffe eagle are excellent. The details on the scabbard are exquisite. The scabbard is near excellent, with nice detailing, and a great tone. The two small rings are in place and are very good. Again, be aware that the scabbard is slightly loose from the blade. The blade itself is good, but there is slight corrosion just under the crossguard. You can also see the SMF logo with DRGM. This does have a very cute, small silver bullion officer’s knot attached, this is in very good condition. Overall, a handsome example.
