German WWII Army DAK Steel Belt Buckle by B&N w/Leather Tab-This is a handsome stamped steel example of an army combat DAK buckle. It does have some of the original tropical paint remaining on the obverse and reverse. You can see that the steel remaining has a nice rust like patina which makes the original olive green paint stand out. This has the flat footed steel catch, and a steel roll bar. The buckle is dated for Berg & Nolte, with the B&N seen under the catch. You can also see the date of ’41. The leather tab is showing its age, and would clean up if you choose to do so. This is also marked for Berg & Nolte.
