German WWII Army Enlisted Man’s Buckle-This aluminum buckle has a pebbled field, with a nicely detailed wreath and “Gott Mit Uns” motto. The details on the eagle are nice in the wings, although the chest and lower swastika show wear, as they have lost some of their detailing from normal wear. Like most early army buckles, this one is also missing the majority of its green finish on the obverse but still retains some on the reverse. There is an integral slotted catch, roll bar and prongs which are all made of aluminum. This is marked under the catch for Gustav Brehmer with the “GB” logo. This is an honest representation of an EM Heer buckle and priced accordingly.
