German WWII Bahnschutz Railway Protection Leader Daggers-This is a very scarce find. These are made of black and silver brocade that remains a nice silver tone with only slight toning. The black velvet backing is excellent with absolutely no moth damage. The fittings have lost the majority of their silver finish. Some finish remains in the lowest details of the oak leaf embellishment. The remaining zinc has toned to a nice silver color. The fittings are made of zinc, including pebbled snap clips. These snap clips function as intended. This is a gorgeous set, that we just do not encounter very often!
