German WWII Cased Iron Cros 1st Class 1939 by Klein & Quenzer- This is a very example. The black iron core is excellent! The finish remains mostly intact. The silver frame has toned to a dark color along the edges, giving this award a cool look. The silver on the reverse is intact and is also darkly toned. The pin setup works as intended. The pin is marked “65” for Klein & Quenzer. The exterior of the black leatherette case is excellent. The box shows hardly any wear at all. The white flocking on the top and bottom of the is very clean. The bottom cardboard of the case is loose and can be easily removed. Under the lid the case is marked for Paul Maybauer. The front button on the case is missing, so please be sure to look closely at the photos. Overall, a nice example in very good condition.
