German WWII Early SA Belt Buckle-An example of an early two piece constructed brass buckle with separately attached silver roundel, worn by the NSKK (National Socialist Motor Corps). This example has a plain field, with a stamped motif of an eagle with outstretched wings. This scarce variant has the "Sonnenrad" (Sunwheel) type swastika. The finish on the silver roundel is missing but the details are very nice, and the roundel has beautiful burnishing. These are getting scarce to see. This is an unmarked example. The reverse has a half-moon shaped catch and nickel-plated roll bar and prongs. This is a very good example.
