German WWII Iron Cross 2nd Class-This iron class 2nd class would make a good starter piece for a new collector. It has some finish missing on both the obverse and the reverse. All of the black finish is missing on the center swastika, sometimes the guys would purposely remove the black to make the swastika stand out on the medal. I’m not sure if this is the case, or if this has lost its finish from age, use and storage. The silver frame is nicely toned. The original portion of ribbon is clean and has bright colors. It is in very good shape. The medal is good looking and would make a good wartime display example. Priced according to condition.
