German WWII Kriegsmarine Battle Flag - This two-sided battle flag measuring 98 inches (250cm) long and 59 inches wide (150cm). It is a good collectible size. This example is produced in red bunting. It is stamped in black ink on one side of the hoist end, Reichskriegsflg. with Kriegsmarine proof stamp. This is followed by the size in CM (150x250). The makers name is stamped into the reinforced hoist end. It reads Berliner Fahnenfabrik Geitel & Co Berlin. This flag does have its rope lanyard for hoisting, with one end having the rope loop. The flag has a fair amount of purplish discoloration marks, so please see photos. This flag will still display well. The majority of the bunting has a clean vibrant color with isolated spots staining. A desirable flag in very good condition!
