The NSBO or “The National Socialist Factory Cell Organization” was a party labor organization (1928–1935) designed to combat trade unions, spread ideology in workplaces, and build support among workers. Founded in 1928, it became a key tool for seizing control of German industry in 1933 before being absorbed by the DAF. This tinnie is made of stamped bronze. The obverse depicts the NSBO logo, which features a hand clutching a hammer with a swastika stamped on its head, to the right of a section of cog wheel. The background depicts three regional buildings. The bottom text reads "Landestreffen der N.S.B.O. Hessen-Nassau Frankfurt. a.M 27. Aug. 1933". The horizontal pin functions as it should. A really cool tinnie.
