German WWII Luftwaffe Gravity Knife-This is the first model Luftwaffe Paratrooper gravity knife. This is an “as found” offering with nickel silver fittings in very good shape as are the wood grip plates. This example is broken, as the clip is missing. The blade will still come out with the help of gravity and a little shake. The spike is in place and is in very good condition with its number 5 waffenamt. As you know, the SMF marked blade measures 4 ½ inches long and is in excellent condition, with its SMF logo. The blade is untouched and shows only the slightest in and out marks. Despite the damage to the clip, this knife is in overall, collectible condition and priced to sell.
