German WWII M24 Stick Grenade Suitcase-This is something we do not see every day, this is an original suitcase to carry a number of M24 Stielhandgranate or German potato mashers. This would originally have a rack inside to hold 15 grenades. This rack would hold 8 stick grenades on the top, and 7 on the bottom. Unfortunately, the internal rack is missing in this case. This case is made of steel with an army green finish that remains mostly in place. There is some rust and discoloration, but this gives it a vintage look. The case measures 19 inches (48.26cm) long by 16 inches (40.64cm) tall, and 6 inches (15.24cm) deep. There is a very nice label on the inside, with a waffenamt and date of 1944. The case itself is nicely marked. It has the Heer markings as well as a maker mark and a slightly faded waffenamt. Extra shipping will apply.
