German WWII May Day Tinnie- May Day is a huge celebration in many countries in Europe, and Germany is no exception. May Day is still a day for rallies and celebrations. This tinnie was issued by the NSDAP to celebrate "Tag der Arbeit" (National Labor Day / May Day) on May 1, 1938. These were widely distributed across Germany to members of the working class and the general public during state-mandated rallies and festivities. The obverse features a child standing on top of a national eagle while holding an oak branch. It features the text "1. MAI 1937". The reverse is marked for Gebr. Albert. The vertical pin is in place, and functions perfectly.
