German WWII Medaille für Deutsche Volkspflege (Medal for German Social Welfare)-This is a 38mm subdued silver medal which bears the insignia of the Social Welfare on the obverse (a cross with national emblem superimposed atop it) and the motto on the obverse, “Medaille für Deutsche Volkspflege” or Medal for German Social Welfare. The silver finish shows nice toning and great details. There is a spot on the reverse where the finish has lifted. This medal includes a portion of original ribbon with a red and off-white ribbon. This medal overall is in very good condition.
