German WWII Miners Buckle (Bergbau-Schüler)-Beautiful early example in brass. This is the elongated variant of Mining Association buckle. There is a crossed hammer and pick in nickel silver that is separately applied with two welded rivets to the buckle. This design was introduced as early as 1935. Displays the usual wear. The roll bar and wire catch are made of steel as well and are in very good condition with only light use.
