German WWII Municipal Police Shako by eReL-This would be worn by a municipal police officer. It has a green felt body with a black leather trim. The exterior is in good condition, but the nap is missing from the green wool. It has a very good shape and each component, meaning the pebbled aluminum chinstrap, the shiny aluminum eagle, and the bullion cockade, are all textbook examples. The cockade is marked and dated 1942. The size 57 liner is a soft, light brown leather. Inside, on the crown of the cap, you can see the full eReL decal is still present. The light brown leather sweatband is in place and shows only slight wear and some moderate discoloration from use. This is a very good example by an excellent maker.
