German WWII Named Large NSDAP Party Flag-This beauty measures approx. 8 feet (2.4m) long by 5 feet (1.5m) wide. This two sided flag is very clean. It has the separately applied white disc with a black printed swastika. There is a veteran name “Elwood Scott Hogdon Maine” written in black ink on the white disc. This would make for a fun research project. A quick lookup of Elwood Scott reveals he was born April 1, 1922, and served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during World War II in Normandy, France, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe. Again, this flag is very clean. The hoist end is reinforced and has a heavy duty twisted rope lanyard that has large steel snap clips on either end for hanging. This is a beauty, and a fun project to learn more about this soldier.
