German WWII NSKK RZM Vintage Dagger by Tigerwerk-This is a later production piece. In fact, this was produced in 1941, which was the next to last year that they produced these daggers. This dagger retains the majority of its nickel silver finish on both the pommel and crossguard. There is some lifting that you can see in the photos. The brown wooden handle is very good. It shows a few bumps and bruises but overall still very sound The aluminum grip eagle is very good and a nice tight fit to the handle. The enameled runic button is very good, it shows a few scuffs but overall retains its enamel. It has a nice color that complements the brown handle. The scabbard is painted black and retains approx. 45% of its original black paint. The steel beneath has come through and has a brown color to it, from the light coating of rust. The scabbard fittings are very good. They retain most of their nickel silverplated finish. It has lifted lightly, but overall, the finish is in place. There is a scuff to the lowest scabbard fitting. The RZM marked blade is very good. It has the usual in and out marks from the scabbard runners, but you can still clearly see the factory cross graining. The motto “Alles fur Deutschland” is nicely etched. The reverse of the blade shows the RZM motto M7/68 which is the manufacturing code for Tigerwerk (Lauterjung & Co.). It also shows the date 1941 below this. This is a very interesting SA dagger in very good condition. Priced to sell.
