German WWII Original Photo of Knights Cross Winner Robert Rebholz-Rebholz was born in 1915. He rose through the ranks of the heer to become Hauptmann (Captain) of the Führer, Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung Hermann Göring Division. He won his knights cross on August 2nd, 1943. He survived the war and died in 1999. This photo measures 5 inches (12.7cm) tall and 3 ½ inches (8.89cm) wide. Rebholz has signed the photo across his chest though it is difficult to see against his tunic. This card was signed in the 1980’s when it was popular to write to surviving veterans to ask for memorabilia.
