German WWII Partial Ground Röhm SA Dagger by E. Packe & Söhne-This is a good-looking example of a partial ground Röhm SA dagger. nickel-silver fittings on this dagger are very good. The nickel hilt and crossguard retain the majority of their matte nickel silver finish. The brown wooden grip has lightened in color, which could be caused from storage. The nickel silver eagle is a tight fit to the handle and has great details and tone. The enamel to the runic button is sound, there is some slight scuffing but overall, the button looks good. The crossguard is nicely marked for the Sw gruppe which indicates Sudwest. The anodized scabbard is in very good condition, though there is some denting to the lower fitting on the reverse. The ball tip is very slightly flattened. The finish on the scabbard is 95% in place and looks very good. The blade is very good you can still see the factory cross graining. The motto “Alles für Deutschland” is deeply etched. The reverse shows the majority of the Röhm inscription. You can see the E. Packe logo under the crossguard. This is a partially ground Röhm with a decent amount of the inscription in place, which as you know is a rare find. Overall, this dagger is very good. This comes with a beautiful three-piece leather hanger including the “D”-ring belt loop that is also in very good condition.
