German WWII Photo Album for Major General Othmar Krüpl- Krüpl was an Austrian-born general of German 2nd railroad Pioneer brigade. He was a German Cross winner while with the Eisenbahn-Pionier-Regiment 5 in 1942. You can see him wearing his medal in many of these photos of him on the railroad sites. You can see some great photos of trestles, bridges and a lot of railway construction. This book has 41 photographs, some loose. This would be a fun research project to gather more information on this man. We found a bit, I know he survived the war, and died in Austria in 1992, and the age of 99 years old! This book is 12 inches (30.48 cm) long, by 8 inches (20.32cm) wide. It is covered in a green textured, faux leather, and is bound with a gold cord. There are blank pages in the back, so you can add some of your photos should you choose. This book is in very good condition, and again, may be a fun summer research project.
