German WWII Photo of Knights Cross Winner Werner Ranck-Ranck was a highly decorated Generalleutnant in the Wehrmacht. He was with the 121st Infantry Division 218th Infantry Division. They were involved in the invasion of Poland/Siege of Warsaw (1939) Battle of France Battle of Dunkirk Operation, Barbarossa Siege of Leningrad Courland Pocket. He was captured by the Soviets during the Courland Pocket in 1945 and remained in Russian confinement until 1955. He passed away in Germany in 1989. This black and white photo is signed in blue ink by Ranck. It measures 6 inches (15.24cm) long and 4 inches (10.16cm) wide and is in very good condition.
