German WWII Police Other Ranks Shako-This is a sound example which has been updated from a Weimar period example, therefore, the body is made of a black fiber material. The police shako eagle has a very good, brushed aluminum finish. This example is missing the cockade. It is also missing the chinstrap and the vent screws. This has a size 55 lining which is in very nice condition. The brown leather tongues with an original leather tie are in nice condition. There is a small remnant of the original maker label inside. There is no readable text remaining on this label. This would make a very nice display shako and is bargain priced.
