German WWII Political Leader’s or Schellenbaum Pole Top Finial-This pole topper is made of aluminum. It retains approx. 95% of its original silver finish. The detailing on both the obverse and reverse is excellent. The original black finish on the wreathed swastika remains approx. 50% in place. This eagle stands 8 ½ inches (21.59cm) tall with a wingspan that is 7 ½ inches (19.05cm) in width. There is a bolt that extends from the base of the eagle, this bolt is approx. ½ inch (1.27cm) in length. There is no nut. This would either be used as a flag topper, or would sit on top of a Schellenbaum. This very stylized eagle is in very good condition.
