German WWII RAD Hewer by Eickhorn-Fine looking early example with nice, nickel-silver fittings throughout. The lightly toned stag grip plates are excellent. The original black enameled paint is approx. 90% on the scabbard. The scabbard fittings are also excellent, with beautiful tone and details. The blade has the deeply engraved RAD motto, which reads “Arbeit Adelt”. Which translates to “Work Enobles”. The blade is excellent. The reverse of the blade has all the textbook RAD nomenclature along with a 1935-41 Eickhorn logo. This is an excellent example overall.
