German WWII Rifle Association Dagger-This is made by E Packe & Sohne whose logo is E.P & S. The white celluloid ribbed handle is intact and has crossed rifles attached to it. There is a spot of discoloration on the handle, as well as a few chips, but overall, I would rate this as very good. This is an early example with brass fittings which are nickel silver plated. The crossguard has the important symbol of the German Rifle Association on a clamshell setup. The dark brown leather scabbard has a few indentations but is otherwise in very sound condition. The plating on the scabbard is worn, especially on the upper fittings which is where the frog would have been located. The double engraved blade has the traditional hunting scenes and rates full excellent. This is definitely a scarce dagger that is missing from most collections. Overall, very sound collectible.
