German WWII RZM Vintage SA Dagger by Robert Klaas-This is a top shelf example of an early RZM production SA dagger. The nickel-plated fittings are literally 99% intact on both the cross guard and the scabbard. The brown handle is a perfect fit and sports a zinc political eagle. The eagle has lost the majority of its nickel silver finish but is tight to the handle and has excellent details. The SA enameled runic button is perfect. The brown painted scabbard retains an amazing 99% of its original paint. The blade is very good with beautifully etched burnished “All for Germany” logo. The reverse of the blade has the RZM contract number awarded to the Klaas firm which is M7/37. This comes with a short brown leather hanger. The leather remains soft and supple. The hanger snap clip is nicely marked for Overhoff & Cie. The fittings are in very good condition, and the snap clip functions as it should. This example would be very hard to upgrade.
