German WWII SA Total Ground Röhm by Eickhorn-This is an early example of a totally ground Röhm SA dagger. The brown wooden handle is excellent and free of any scuffs or scratches. The nickel silver grip eagle is excellent. It remains nice and tight to the handle. It has excellent details and a nice shiny silver tone. The enameled runic button has a beautiful copper tone. The enamel is excellent.  The nickel silver fittings on the pommel and crossguard are excellent. They retain 99% of the silver finish. The reverse of the crossguard is marked with the SA district Wm, for Westmark. The brown anodized scabbard is also excellent. The finish shows some spotting but is in very good condition. The nickel silver scabbard fittings retain 99% of their nickel silver finish. Now, let’s talk about this ground blade. The blade is in very good condition; you can still see the faint factory cross graining. The “Alles fur Deutschland” is deeply etched on the obverse of the blade. The reverse did have the Röhm motto which looks to be factory ground. Even a portion of the early Eickhorn logo has been ground a bit, at the top of the oval. This comes complete with its original leather hanger that is also excellent. The nickel finish on the hanger fittings are in place. The snap clip functions as it should. The brown leather remains soft and supple. This dagger is excellent throughout.
