German WWII Short Model Dress Bayonet-The silver plating is mostly missing on the fittings of this example. The pommel and crossguard have toned to a nice matte silver color. Checkered grip plates are perfect. Still has the red felt in the bayonet slide. The scabbard paint is 50% intact. The blade has the tip broken off, and someone has sharpened this blade. This comes complete with an excellent black patent leather frog that is probably worth more than this bayonet. Overall sound condition with an excellent frog.
