German WWII Signed Photo of Knight’s Cross Winner Karl Berger-Berger was a highly decorated Oberleutnant der Reserves in the Fallschirmjäger 15th Regiment. Not only did he win the Knights Cross, but he also won two silver tank destruction badges for induvial combatants. He fought in Operation Overlord, Cobra, Lüttich, the Battle of the Bulge and the Ruhr Pocket. The photo is in very good condition. The signature at the bottom is a bit hard to make out against the dark of his lower uniform, but it is there. This photos measures 5 inches (12.7cm) tall by 3 ½ inches (8.89cm) wide. It is in very good condition. Reading and learning more about this soldier might be a fun research project.
