German WWII Single Collar Tab for Reichsbahn (RBD) Official-This single tab is made of a black velvet, which is piped in light gold. There is a half wreath, swastika and railway insignia above this. All of the insignia is made of zinc, and has lost its original finish. This tab would be worn by someone in paygrade 6 and 7, which relates to being an officer within the Gehobener Dienst or service group. The gold piping also signifies an elevated position. This collar tab would be worn on the open collar tunic, since it is rectangular in shape, and not the usual parallelogram shape. You can see the buckram stiffener on the reverse, along with the prongs that hold the insignia in place. This is in very good shape.
