German WWII Single Slip On Shoulder Board for Panzerjäger Units-This board is in “as found” condition. The subdued silver tresse is showing its age from use and storage. There is heavy discoloration on both the obverse and reverse, so please see photos. The board itself shows moderate wear. There is a Fraktur style “P” on the front, which actually looks like an “n”. This is not an N, it historically signifies the letter P for Panzerjäger. The cypher has lost its silver finish, but the zinc has toned to a nice gray color. The cypher is detailed. This would be worn by an Unteroffizier or an NCO rank. Again, this is in “as found” condition and priced accordingly.
