German WWII SS 1943 Soldatenfreund Taschenjahrbuch-This is a pocket-sized soldier’s diary and handbook issued to members of Nazi Germany's Waffen-SS during WWII. Produced by Adolf Sponholtz Verlag in Hannover, it features a daily 1943 calendar, organizational notes, and multi-page reference sections on military ranks, uniforms, and insignia. This book contains 182 pages, with 24 pages of illustrations of flags, uniforms and insignia. There is a very small folded world map in the back. This has a very nice tight binding. The cover is very good, the embossed SS in the lower corner is slightly faded on one of the runes. This book is named to an SS Oberscharführer Rudolf Rosenkreauz (on page 9).
