German WWII SS 1944 Soldatenfreund Taschenjahrbuch-This is a pocket-sized soldier’s diary and handbook issued to members of Nazi Germany's Waffen-SS during WWII. Produced by Adolf Sponholtz Verlag in Hannover, it features a daily 1944 calendar, organizational notes, and multi-page reference sections on military ranks, uniforms, and insignia. The front cover shows Himmler portrait and printed dedication. This book contains 63 pages, with 24 pages of illustrations of flags, uniforms and insignia. There is a small folded world map at the back page. This has a very nice tight binding. The cover is very good, the embossed SS in the lower corner is slightly faded. Overall, this is near excellent.
