German WWII SS 8 Year Long Service Award-These are getting scarce to encounter. This is a beautiful medal. This is the 8-year long service medal. It is a round, bronze finished medal which has the SS runes inside a wreath, superimposed over a static swastika on the front. The reverse bears the inscription "Für Treue Dienste in der SS" superimposed over a large number 8. The finish has toned slightly. This has a beautiful goldish bronze look. There is only light wear. This medal measures 37mm in diameter. It includes the correct cornflower blue ribbon and the correct elongated suspension ring. This is a near excellent example
