German WWII State Service Flag-This flag is in “as found” condition. There is a tear at the top of the flag, on the hoist end just under the reinforced edge. This tear measures approx. 12 inches in length. It would be easy enough to repair, but we will leave that up to you. We are selling this state service flag in “as found” condition only. So, you sew, you save, as they say. There are several moth holes throughout the red bunting as well, so please see photos. Overall, this is a nice flag actually. It just has a few liabilities. It is two sided, printed example. It measures 66 ½ inches (170cm) long and 39 inches (100cm) wide. It is very well marked R.Dflg (for Reichsdienstfl) 100x170. There is a navy proof to the left and the maker’s logo WFT for W.F. Thomas of Greiz Germany. This is priced to sell.
