German WWII Vehicle ID Flag-This flag is encountered less often than the larger more rectangular ones. It is squarer and measures 38” x 29” (97 x 74 cm). It is one sided and has four zinc grommets that would be used to lash this flag down to a vehicle, tank or truck. These were meant to mark the vehicle so that any pilots would recognize it as a German vehicle. It remains in a vibrant red color with no discoloration. There is only one smaller pull to the fabric along edge. See photo. It’s a beauty in very good condition and seldom encountered size.
