German WWII Verbandkasten Wooden First Aid Box-This wooden box is painted in gray paint. The top of the box has the script Verbandkasten just above the red cross in a white circle. The box has two metal latches on the front. The inside of the box is also painted in the same gray color. The paint on the inside and outside of the box is 95% in place. There is a canvas handle to the right side of the box. Just under the handle, on the lower left, you can see a very faint waffenamt. This box measures 14 inches (35.56cm) long, by 7 ½ inches (19.05cm) wide, by 4 inches (10.16cm) tall. This box has no contents, but originally this would hold bandages and other first aid supplies. This is an excellent offering.
