German WWII Veteran’s 25 Year Kyffhauser Veterans Association Membership Pinback- The DRKB, “Deutscher Reichskriegerbund” (German National-veterans’-league), was formed during WWI, and was based on the DKB, “Deutscher Kriegerbund,” originally formed after the Franco-Prussian war in the 1870s. By 1936 it had incorporated most of the varied veterans’ associations into it, and was itself re-named the NS-RKB, “Nationalsozialistische-Reichskriegerbund,” in 1938. This display a bright silver finished oak-leaf wreath encompassing a translucent red enamel shield, bordered in toned silver, with a silver bordered black enamel Iron Cross with a mobile swastika to its center. On the top of the badge is the number “25” in silver on a black enamel, bordered in silver, circular base. The reverse is marked with Ges.Gesch. The pin back is in place and works as it should. This is in very good condition.
