Italian WWII Unit Bugle with Banner-An Italian traditional unit bugle with hand embroidered flag, in gold bullion for "GENOVA CAVALLERIA 54 Gruppo" ("Genoa Cavalry Group 54"). This is a flat sided silvered bugle with an attached flag and two tassels. "A. Corradini Bologna" maker marked. Hand-stitched flag with golden bullion wire on blue cloth that is slightly faded to the front. A small "booklet" titled “Vigilo Ed Aspetto” inside the flag with information’s of the Cavalry Group from 1940 until 1942. Some pages with cracks to the lower edge. It can be assumed that the unit fought on the part of the Wehrmacht in WWII. The bugle has a nice toning, it measures 22cm or just over 8 inches in length. Great display item with a great history.
