Japanese WWII INERT Type 97 MK 2 Nose Fuse-Primarily utilized in aerial bombs, these fuses featured characteristic aluminum fins, brass components, and sometimes original red paint or card labeling to denote specific models or functions. This example has the pink card with the instructions. We believe this to be an aerial bomb nose fuse, initiated by a fan. There are numbers stamped into the brass hex nut, but they are difficult to read, so we are uncertain if this is a designation, or a capture code. This makes a great display item.
