Japanese WWII Manufacturing Data Plate for Type 93 150 Searchlight-This is a small steel brass plate that measures approx. 6 inches (15.24cm) long by 4 inches (10.16cm) wide. This was manufactured by the Shimadzu Corporation in April of 1940. It is interesting that this company is still in business today, supplying optics and flight gear as well as other industrial products in 2025. This data plate has many statistics listed, such as arc current, etc. The printing shows some wear but is still quite readable. This is a cool display piece.
