Model 1938 NSKK Honor Guard Gorget-This is an incredibly rare example! It is a half moon shaped aluminum shield with pin fixed appliques to include an NSKK eagle and corner rosettes. Reverse covered with light brown wool. The arresting clasp punched M1/52 indicating production by Zimmerman and a circle and RZM and double circles. Aluminum finished chain. This example is unissued with minor storage age. There is ever so slight bending to the gorget as seen in the pics. Extremely rare, one of only a few known in collections.
