Naval Provisions Department Wilhelmshaven 1942 Ration Bag-This is something I have never owned before. This large white ration bag is well marked with “Mar. Verpflegungsamt Wilhelmshaven 1942” in blue on one side, and a national eagle on the other. This was designated to Wilhelmshaven, which is a major German coastal city and the primary North Sea naval base for the German fleet. This large bulk food sack measures 43 inches (109.22cm) long and approx. 27 inches (68.58cm) wide. It shows age discoloration throughout but is overall in very good condition.
