RAD Officer “Robin Hood” Cap with East Prussian Unit Insignia-This is an extremely nice example and it is of a high quality. The brown wool body is excellent and very soft. It is clean, with just minor wear and discoloration from use. The center band is dark brown badge cloth with a bullion spade, wheat sprigs and piping around the spade. The swastika is black cloth as is the outer face of the spade. This is all over brown badge cloth and is hand applied. The upper edges of the scallop as well as the inner brim are trimmed is silver flat wire piping. There are a pair of ventilation grommets on each side of the cap. The underside of the brim is also lined in brown wool. The interior is fully lined in gold rayon that shows some minor wear and discoloration from use. The sweatband is tan leather, showing minor wear and discoloration from use. It is embossed with a maker logo which is a monogram inside a circle with the letters “HR”. This cap is a size 58 and extremely well made! Also included is an original RAD traditions cap badge for Arbeitsgau 1 (East Prussia).
