Russian WWII Overseas Cap (Pilotka)-This military side cap would be worn by someone in the Soviet army during WWII, or the great Patriotic War as they call it in Russia. This is made of a tight weave, khaki colored wool. This is in very good condition, only light wear, and no moth damage. The front of the cap shows a stamped, steel maroon star, with hammer and sickle insignia. This is lined in a white muslin like fabric, that is nicely maker stamped. You can also see the size of 55. The black sweatband is very good, and again, shows only light wear. This cap is very clean and in excellent condition overall.
