Scarce Third Reich Luftschutz Model 1942 Combat Helmet-This is a steel, beaded combat style Luftschutz helmet with a blue grey finish that remains 95% intact. The large Luftschutz decal at the front which is mostly intact. There is a brownish tan leather liner that is  size stamped 57. It is excellent, remaining very soft and having only very minor discoloration. The rear skirt of the interior is stamped hkp 64 indicating production by Sachsische Emaillerwerke in the size of 64. The rear skirt is also stamped with the lot number 3772. There is a wide, dark brown leather chinstrap that is in fine condition as well. This example is has initials written onto the liner, “M.F.”. A super and scarce example!
