Third Reich Luftschutz Helmet-This is a steel example with a blue finish that remains about 50% intact. The large Luftschutz decal at the front is 70% intact. This is the 3 piece style with two salt and pepper shaker style ventilation grommets on each side. There is a 9 finger, ersatz leather liner that is fairly supple, with minor wear and discoloration from age and use. There is a drawstring. The rear skirt has a stamp that reads RL2-39, Hochpreis 8 RM. The chin strap is mostly missing. A sound example overall!
