Third Reich Luftschutz Helmet-This is a steel example with a blue finish that remains 80% intact. The large Luftschutz decal at the front is 80% intact as well. This example was meant for HJ personnel working as fire wardens with the Luftschutz. We believe the HJ diamond applied to the left side is a post war reproduction and we are not adding any value to the price for it. This is the 3 piece style with two salt and pepper shaker style ventilation grommets on each side. The liner is present, but heavily worn with much of it missing. What is there is super worn, discolored and stiff. The rear skirt is stamped RL2 38/28. The sticker seen on many of these is present but heavily worn. One tiny part of the chinstrap remains. A sound example overall!
