Third Reich Luftschutz Model 1935 Combat Helmet-This is a steel, beaded combat style Luftschutz helmet with a blue grey finish that remains 70% intact. The large Luftschutz decal at the front is worn but still mostly intact. There is a brown ersatz leather liner that is a size 57. There is wear and discoloration to go with a few small tears as well. The side of the interior is stamped ET 64 indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke of Thale in the size of 64. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number 3421. There is a wide, dark brown leather chinstrap that is in fine condition aside from some minor fading. This example is also named to “Burghardt”, this is seen in white paint on the rear skirt. A good example!
