US Army First Lt Nurse Lot of 3 Insignia-This is a lot for a 1st Lt in the US Army Nurse Corp. The collar pin is a gold caduceus with a letter N. This also includes the silver rank bar for first lieutenant. The badge is a combat medical badge. It is mounted on a piece of gray wool. The pin back works as intended. The central motif is the caduceus intertwined with two serpents. The Greek cross is above this, with wings on either side. The half wreath is in place symbolizing strength and courage. To qualify for this badge, an individual must be assigned to a infantry or combat unit and must have satisfactory performed medical duties while under live enemy fire. The siler finish remains mostly in place on the combat badge. This set is in very good condition.
